Been looking at this site

But the prices are kinda steep and they don't have some of the sizes I was after. Can anyone recommend anywhere else? Can't do ebay either (no account setup, for my own good :D )

BTW they also do coloured heatshrink for cables
http://www.bsr-aerotek.com/store/index.php?cPath=271_246_249, was half-considering getting some purple and seeing what it looked like but decided at the last minute it would make my Vit T look a bit like a barbie-bike

Cheers folks, between them I managed to get most of the bolt sizes I was after. Started looking because I was ordering the inner chainring spacers from Billy's cycles and because they had a minimum order value for free postage I started looking for other cool stuff. Low and behold they have a few packs of purple bolts reduced to clear.
Spent the weekend putting purple nipples on a set of wheels :)

Also I meant to ask, what are peoples views on replacing bolts such as the stem face plate bolts with ali ones? I think I'm of the opinion these should be steel...

It's up to you..

Even back in the day I wouldn't have done that. Use alu bolts in strictly non safety critical places only.

Ali bolts

Never fit'em in the face plate, once saw the great Dan Cook (remember him, Orange Rider), smash his face in after they snapped off in a race!

Either use Titanium, or the original bolts, don't use Stainless steel, look fine but have a habit of shearing the heads of, a bit brittle.
