I believe we were the first ever retrobike sport mixed 5....we cam 101st out of 116, but did double the laps of the 116th team....however the winners did double ours LOL
Incidentally I am gob smacked that my 2hr 56min lap was not the slowest, relief!

Top write up so far Chopper although I'll have to pick you up on a couple of points:
"NWA: Release the Inner Chimp" - name inspired by 2010 but ditch the motivational speaker who, Tim Robbins like, provided said inspiration. I expected so much more and am therefore disappointed with myself. That said, take away FastMartin and what are you left with? An Ice Road Trucker, an Ageing Metrosexual and a man who can't beat someone 5 stone heavier in a 2.5km foot race, that's what.
I'm happy that you have acknowledged the simple genius of our plan which lead you to focus on what was happening in our team rather than your own - the play was to confuse you about who was on the course at any one time (I'll concede that, momentarily, we confused ourselves though). You'll also note that we cleverly confused the timekeepers too - despite actually setting off 7 times, including at the top of the site when I tracked down the ragdoll that was Sinnett, I appear to have only officially ridden 2 laps.

So this was our first Mayhem and first Retrobike meet.. we had such an awesome time. I proved to my better half that I can actually camp (which was a miracle considering the size of our tent) and I also proved to myself that front suspension is for pansies!
We met some great characters and saw some amazing retrobikes.. special thanks to the organisers and to Jon 'jonnyboy' for sorting out my dodgy headset and brakes and giving me the opportunity to do a lap!
Best heckle was heard from our tent at 8am on Sunday morning 'MIND THE BEAR... WATCH OUT FOR THE BEAR!"

Another top weekend in great company. Far to many moments to recall them all, most have already been mentioned!
I think the megaphone was the out right winner which was enjoyed by everyone in a 2 mile radius The gauntlet for heckling has been well and truly thrown down now, expect to see them everywhere next year.
I'm going to rig 1 up on the bars for on track heckling / making people jump.
