It turned out much better than I thought - but it did take the best part of 2 years! (its still not original spec but close enough for me)

Funny how these mid range bikes can be harder to do than the top end stuff - it took ages and three attempts to find some decent cranks.

A pretty good looking UK mtb for its time I think :D

I've not seen another, BITD my mate had the 501 Montana and I found one of those in the US but the seller wouldn't ship :(

Cool! I have only ever seen one other Montana on eBay US and the seller wouldn't ship it to me.

You pic failed to upload as you have only one post - I'll pm you my e-mail address - send me the pics and I'll upload it for you.

You need to contact Gil_m on here for the decals, I have loads of pictures of the Montana to use and it is a standard font.

That is gorgeous,loving the XCD6000 kit,I had that group on a1990 Peugeot Team Canyon Pro frameset,worked flawlessly. :D :D
