Here's my Dario Pegoretti Great Googoolee Moogoolee (lyrics from a Frank Zapper song).
It dates from around 2001 & is made from Dedacciai EOM 16.5 steel tubing.

Desmondo,

Many people's dream frame-maker, with the pedigree of making Tour winning frames. A maker with innovative thinking and unmistakeable features.

I had a Marcelo for a couple of years - lovely bike, but, sacriligious to say, I preferred my carbon fibre bike, so sold it on.

How does your GGM ride? Pretty stiff drivetrain and solid feel to the front end, I imagine.
How long have you owned it, where did you buy it (direct from Italy?).

Are they Nucleon wheels (or Neutrons)?.

Regards,

David

It's the best handling bike I've ridden & it's as stiff as they come.

I bought it secondhand from a man who has everything (bike wise).
I'm only into my third week of ownership.& yes they are Nucleon.

That is sacrilege though I can't really comment because I have a carbon Look.

Pegoretti

The guy does great paint jobs, if you have one hang on to it as it will be worth a fortune after he passes on !!!!
well thats what my mate has told his wife when he bought one !!!

Pegoretti

Hi Desmondo, apologies for resurrecting an old thread, but looking into a Pegoretti as a potential buy. I can't find much on sizing - possibly because most are custom made. Would you say your bike is a traditional geometry? How tall are you and what size is your frame? Also would you be inclined to say how much it cost second hand? Sorry to be nosy, but may help me in making a decision

Thanks, WG
