Here comes my `92er Gilles Berthoud,
fillet brazed with db Vitus Rocky tubing,
fitted with Shimano`s XT group, Rolls Titanio saddle and Wolber rims...

That is a lovely bike. Just looks so "right".

What the heck, I´ll put in my humble Diablo ´89.
Fillet brazed and polished DX

I was hoping you wouldn't nominate this beauty this month. Now I have no chance with my Montare against this one!
This will get my vote for sure!!

Yeah, I know bout the C26, it's very nice, but not my cup of tea!

The Gilles Berthoud and the Jamis Diablo both say much better than I did what I was trying to about the C-26 - they look like one creation, a whole, an overall design. While they are more than the sum of their parts, the C-26 is somehow less.

Each to their own.

A proper belter!! I was decided on the Montare, then this comes along and then Jeroen throws a Jamis into the mix! I'll have to 'mullet' over while doing a lap at Mayhem on 2ME2U

Oh my!

Now that Berthoud is one of the sweetest bikes I've seen in a while: surprising, rare, elegant and beautifully executed. A very good BOTM package indeed.
