Used this every day pretty much since I had it complete and in this country you don't get much more urban than where I ride daily and it's certainly my least retro build.

Please note the commuter bell...not many Pace with one of those badboys fitted!

RC300 frame
RC31 forks
Magura Marta SL brakes
M970 XTR derailleurs
Middleburn Duo chainset
Hope Hoops (Stans Crest rims on XC Sp3 hubs- Specifically purchased to match the 3 bolt spider on the middleburn duo cranks)
Easton EC90 bars
FSA carbon post
Flite ti (the only retro part)

Here's my DMR Trailstar; built as an urbanfunplaything to navigate through the grime, the obstacles and whatever gets thrown up... It eats it!

I love this bike and really makes me smile every time I ride :)

Pub Hack

Unbadged Dawes surplus 700c frame. Date unknown but 1" headtube presumably provides some limit (late 90's, early 00's ?).

IG chainset, brakes, stem etc from 1998

Rear mech is Suntour from about 1985

Carbon fork, seatpost, bars. Dates unknown

Lightweight at 23.5lbs

Great pub hack bike, particularly for getting to the out of town ones.
