Klein Pulse Comp

Get the paint off it, my Pulse frame came in at just over 1250 when stripped. Though I then respayed it and added a shed load of badly applied paint pushing the weight right back up :(

looks good mate, those cranks have come up super shiney, think mine may end up being a 1x9 but am going to finish it as a single speed first ;)

stubbsy :D

Some more kit possibilities. Pretty certain I'll use the hubs but the bar and stem combo won't work. I am waiting for a 3T stem to come .

Mmmm, liking the looks (and weight) of that karma stem! Mind you were asking about my Avids last night?

Pair of SD-5 Arms (no noodle) = 133g

So factor in weight of noodle and pads and fixings.

Original all-in-one pads were 66g per pair, but KCNC cartridge holders (£15 per pair) and some Clarks pads were 32g, although I did have some filing to do to widen the slot for the cartridge bolt.

Thats interesting! the V's aren't as heavy as I thought compared to canti's! I reckon you could bypass the noodle by using nokons....

Stripped and polished. Only lost 50grams taking the frame weight to 1540g, was hoping for more but will take what I can get!

Slight change of direction with the build, I've secured a pair of SID's and its definitely going 1X8/9. I'll still try to build as light as possible but I don't think I'll beat the Cannondale :?
