Sooooo I've finally been able to get my hands on an Ibis Szazbo
with those lovely John Castellano designed chainstay features.
The Fox Alps shock still "surprisingly" holds air perfectly.

This has been on my most wanted list forever along with
the Mantis Flying V and the Alpinestars Al-mega.

Aaaah the collection grows again...

I'm planning to do a semi modern build with some German A forks. Might do the colour a Champagne/ti looking metallic pearl and match it up with some ano blue bits n bobs. Don't know what cranks to put on it yet, have a set of Kookas but still keeping an open mind...
