last Sun we did the Glenfinglas loop. Great day out, good banter, some superb climbing and some excellent descents as well. :D

Sorry quality of pics is not superb as they were taken with my Blackberry, but they turned out not too bad.

Rode a recce for the Drumlanrig meet(see sig :D ) as well as a handfull of bike 2 works I was out today for a hilly road ride.

since last time: 166.06

Hmm . didn't want to note down my mileage , seems far too much of a hassle . But I want to keep a rough idea because it winds me up when someone will buy a £4000 bike and use it only 2 or 3 times a year . Kinda into a cost per ride ratio . It helps in my line of work knowing how long stuff lasts ; especially when you get people who moan about the cost of their bike and maintenance costs . Work out how much it is per mile and it often isn't much .

My smoke has done roughly , based on a 10 mile ride ( 20 because I need to come home  ) often 6 , sometimes 7 ! but always at least 5 days a week since I bought it at the start of march ( oh shit I just remembered I used the fire mountain for a month before I got it  )

Easily 2500 miles commuted so far this year

The smoke owes me something like £2 a day , ridden . Something like 10p a mile . It's the chains each 500 or so miles that are keeping it high .

Managed to break a spoke at some point . need to remember to change that tomorrow .
