My Gazelle Champion Mondial A-frame in Amstel bier finishing. J8B's project inspired me to do a little bit more thinking on how I will do my project. I think the frame would work very well with early black Dura-Ace.

The frame has fittings that do allow Campagnolo instead of Shimano shifters, hence the black Gazelle panto'ed shifters will be Campag's contribution to this build. The current Campagnolo headset will be replaced by a black chrome Dura-Ace example >>>

The frame was originally supplied by Geert Belga in Groningen.

I kind have a weak spot for the black Dura-Ace components, especially in combination with particular colours. I tend to like it with metallic/gloss paints, as with this A-frame for example. I plan to build the other Dura-Ace black groupset I have on this Presto frame >>>

The trained eye with spot resemblance with the A-frame. It looks a bit like a slightly more luxerious A-frame. The resemblance is no coincidence. The man who contributed substantially to the Gazelle Champion Mondial design, Bertus Slesker, built this Presto.

Very nice. Going to look great with black Dura Ace. Especially like the high profile hubs :)

I'm coming back every day just to look at these frames.

They're both beautiful but if I had to choose one I'd take the Presto. The frame's color, the chrome... I don't know, it's just fantastic!
