Bought this recently from Brusque. Will get it like it was in the old brochures..... only used! And I will be using this, like the 1987 Montare!

First pics here! More to follow!

Anybody got a white Direct Drive 1" threaded fork for me??

Nice coulors 8)
If you can't find an '88 fork, I have a '91 pink fork.
Don't know if it is different from an '88.

Liking that a lot, does look truly weird with a full control set and no forks!

I guess you have the matching tyre wheel combo up front?

Have you decided on seating arrangements yet?

That control set up is in lovely order and those mechs too!

I'm building a Stumpy as well but mine looks like it has been in the sea for five years :D

And I bought this seat from Jamiedyer:

with a Ritchey seatpost!

There is a 1" fork on it's way, but I still want to have a Direct Drive one!

I might be able to help you out here. I have some DD 1" forks but they are black. I also have some Deore 4-finger levers, they are all black instead of the standard chrome/black jobbies.

Big fan of the build, I have something very similar...

PM me if interested as I don't swing by that often

Waiting on a Direct Drive fork, I put this RS1 on it. Looks pretty good IMHO! :)

Could use some help chosing the right saddle. Don't mind the black seatpost. Still waiting on a silver Ritchey to arrive. But should I go Turbo white or Specialized black?

Depends on the colour you choose for the fork.
If that is going to be white, go for the white saddle.
I like the black port better then a silver one I think.

If you stick with the Rockshox (which look great by the way :D) I'd go with the Turbo :D

Ha! That is a quandry isn't it!

I saw the rock shox earlier and thought has to be a black saddle, but now you've asked the question and the bike is modelling the alternatives...

I think I'm with Nevadasmith the white turbo looks the best, with the whole picture

It's great having choices
