Loop of Arran road ride 25th of June

I'll probably walk with you Gaz :) even with a 28 block.

Kaiser where is cheapest? Was thinking 105 -£32 at CRC and ribble any major disadvantage over ultegra?

I'll be on my modernish Raleigh Chimera hopefully. Think I'll need a 28 tooth block aswell but I might go for a 32 and fit a long cage mech, knees aint what they used to be

9spd? Only difference will be weight which will be a trade of for longevity. Remember you can use SRAM and mtb casettes too.

Might be worth keeping an eye on this one

10 speed K, I've heard 9 speed is old hat :) and I'm non compact at the front, especially around the midrift

EDIT for 10 try Parker international or Ribble :)

EDIT again CRC Ultegra 10 looks the best VFM!

3 organised rides, I only spot 2 :?

If Solstice ride is organised doesn't someone have to organise it and that someone lives in Glenrothes ;)
