Full suspension Mountain Goat time...

Hits the sweet spot!

Very, very nice.... keep it tasteful to the finish Jez!

Is that a Castellano design?

Mr K

Yes quite right Kev - they would be great for this build - aint you using them?

K = Apparantly it was designed by an engineering student for Jeff @ Mountain Goat - forget his name but I think it features on the top tube.

AmeyBrook knows the full story.

The FS Goat was the Master's Degree final thesis project for then-Goat employee Brian Hall.

The design didn't work out with its high-pivot, and its poor sales was one of the reasons for Goat's ultimate demise. This is what I hear anyways.

One in the hand...

I'm sure it will do you nicely until the the BowTi comes your way...

Best not bring that delicate looking thing to the Peaks, eh?!

Mr K

I reckon it could handle it ok Neil! Its quite burly really. Just looks quite skinny from afar. I'd have been happier riding this than the HT Salsa definitely!

Its actually not that heavy either. Need to get some scales - reckon its around 26ib.

Not to fight Jez's battles for him, but when it was in my hands I thought it was very solidly-build. One would think the elastomers would have been junk, but they seemed in quite good shape. I would have no problems hammering the sh*t out of it. :D
