Hi guys. Just thought i would share a few pics of my finished project. Well, nearly finished. Its complete as it stands, but still trying to source a rear x618 rear wheel and a couple of other little bits. I bought this about 6 months ago as a wreck. Tbh the mcrea as standard is pretty pants, but the frame is awsome. Its now spec'd up with full xt. And it now rides like a beast.. I well pleased with it. What do you guys think?

Looks great that! I looked at one in the past, but the aluminium had started to oxidise. Your frame looks in excellent condition. Good choice of parts too, the Blue touches go really well. Nice build :)

Looking really nice that, only thing i'm not keen on are the grips :/

yeah i agree
other wise, its beautiful, very well done
just right

Lovely, that is. I'm liking the blue-colour-co-ordination too.

Grips aren't to my taste, but if they are comfy for you that's all that matters.

thanks for the feedback guys :D Anyway regarding the grips, im always open to an honest opinion. So what grips do you think would suit the bike? please give me your input. Again thanks for the positive coments.

I quite like Gusset lock-ons myself, and you can get them in a lovely blue colour that would match your other blue bits!

Still, it's a cracking bike, that.

or some blue yeti hardcore grips
normal (im not sure if you can get them in lock on)
comfiest most durable grips ive used
