Obree

The Obree one looks good. Its the same weekend as the Merckx one down south.
To be honest, the endurance one of Obree's looks like a better ride.
So is any one else interested in eother the Merckx or the Obree?

I don't think I'll make that date, just back from hols.

Anyone fancy tackling the etape Caledonia route?
 
tbh the Obree one is the least appealing for me :? not particularly a challenge and a bit overpriced too. One of the others would be better. I'm thinking I might do the other two!

Yes, name the date and if I can make it I'll be there!

I'm also going to put up a date for a roon Arran trip.

I propose the 5th of June for an etape recon ride.

Anybody going to the Merckx gran Fondo?

Jamie, look at the events coming up, MacRetro are doing their 4th Aniversary GT meet on 4th June, an etape recon on the 5th is too close ;)

However i'll be up for an Arran circuit and maybe an etape recon. I've just secured a Raleigh Chimera 16 speed racer, just got to pay for it and await delivery. The Chimera is not particularly high end but by my standards its scarily modern. Semi compact chromo frame, straight blade forks, 16 speed Shimano Sora STI shifters and Ultegra chainset with skinny tyres. This will be rapid by my standards :cool:
 
aye tis a wee bit tight Jamie! I'll propose the 25th of June for the roon Arran ride.
