Brand new bike (cycle to work) decision

Yep I keep getting drawn back to the BMC Blast and Kona Steely, I just hope it is still at that price when they get the scheme in place :fingerscrossed smily:

hmm if you have read the terms and what not
could you go into the specfic stor and put down a cash deposit to make sure?

(beer/biscuits needed probably)

I don't have the T&C's yet, and I don't have a local store, the closest is Nottingham 40 odd miles away.

But I've asked the question anyway

Woohoo the scheme has actually been signed off by management now, it's only taken a couple of months

So looking on Evan's site today the BMC Blast and Kona Steely are both still available in my size.

Now for the biggy. These are both heavily reduced from their RRP, do you think it would be worth while hanging on now until the 2012 model range is released to see what bargains can be had then?

EMPLOYERS and this BIKE2WORK scheme

I said to my employer, can I get a MTB on this CYCLE2WORK thing.
They said why do ask? I said you know just so I can get 1 cheaper!

I waited with baited breath for their witty response (Even by my standards their retorts are things of legend, I laugh in my sleep for months afterwards)

And after what seems like an age..........

Their amalgamated response was, we don't do at the moment........

And we've got no plans too either..........

Still what does all this mean to people who really want a new bike, and can't afford it (Oooooh), there is always:
~ have the CASH in the first place and pay it all in LUMP SUM (No Neo I don't want any Dim Sum or noodles),
~ or you could get FINANCE from the shop
~ or you could get a LOAN

Then you really really do own it (After paying it off, that is)
