Hare the brake avid super arch first generation, from 98-99? Could you post our send me pics of those please?

I don't have them I'm afraid, the ones in the pic above belong to the previous owner of the frame - see his avatar ;)

I finished this a while ago so thought I'd chuck some pics and a spec up. I think it rides really nicely and pretty light for a large steel framed bike.

The SID works really well and looks good but I would be tempted by an Obsys :)

superb
love the white SID

about the obsys - frankly I generally say that it is a fork that decreases the discomfort of a rigid fork
but saying it is comfortable maybe a bit farfetched. ;)
maybe the advantage being the Obsys being rather rigid possibly compared to the SID :?:

the only thing I don't fancy here is the saddle- don't finf it elegant :?

Thank you Bruno, I'm glad you approve of what I've done with it :D
I'd agree with all you say about the obsys in my limited experience so far. I have noticed with this SID that I have to give the brake pads a lot of clearance from the rim to make sure they dont rub when I put some weight on the bike or steer - and I didn't think I was that hefty...
What saddle is that on the bike in your picture?

It is actually the original saddle of the bike, that came with it when it was sold at that time
an italia vetta

Lots of colour going on above!
Was thinking of this but thought it might be too much white and it has more wear than the rest of the bike. Plus I do like Gobis for riding.
