East Midlands Area chat and rides thread

If you can enlighten me on how to get the route from my phone to the site I'll send it through. In the meantime: the usual down along the ridge to Milton, back along the road and up the wiggly track. Down the loose fast track alongside the wood, up the side and over the top of Repton Shrubs to the technical bit by the stream. Left along the road and up Noah's Ark, then Treacle Hill, past the converted hospital and down through the woods, past the bluebell bit and along the narrow sheeptrack back to the road. Turned right and back along road to redo Noah's Ark. Then carry along past the barn conversions to come out on the road. Through to Hartshorn and up Nemeslittlesis to the top above the reservoir. Down through Carvers Rocks, along the reservoir, up the little gravelly hill and back along the ridge. Walk to shop and eat bacon rolls.

Really good conditions and had the joy of showing three chaps on modern bikes (2 suspended) part of the the route, so a party of 7 for half the circuit.

John's mate John thoroughly enjoyed himself on a '93 / 94 Marin and hopefully will be joining us on evening rides, as might one of the three 'guests' (modern specialised hardtail ).

And it didn't rain, and the wind pushed us home, and no mechanicals. :D :D

sounds great - I'll enlighten you tomorrow.

I can't ride :( (despite it being *my* birthday, I don't get to do what I want...  ) , but shall be joining you at the pub :D
