I've got a wheel that should have a presta tube in, but i only have Schraeder ones :?
Should i....
A. Drill the rim to accept the schraeder?
B. Stop being so bloody impatient and go and buy the right tube tomorrow?
:D :D

Drill and buy a reducer as well.

Then when you're out biking and you get a flat and you've forgotten (or in my case already used up) all your tubes and your mates only have the other style you can still use it.

Sounds eye-watering! Isn't there some sort of "special interest" forum where you could get better advice.

Why don't you just get a presta valve for goodness sake? Why weaken a rim?

I'll go for:

a) It probably won't weaken the rim. Never has for me.
b) Practicality - it's easier to find a Schrader pump out there in the big bad world.
