Had this for about 5 years now, bought from a mate in a moment of madness
Not too sure of the exact year but believed to be 1993 or 94 - maybe someone can confirm?

Cheers, it is nice :D

Not too happy with the colour of the tyres but they were very cheap (thank goodness!) and i like the Pro Race.

Problem is I haven't got the legs to push the gears anymore

I was a roadie BITD, so really appreciate this bike, its lovely mate. So clean :D

Makes me want to take a pic of my Penine and post a thread. Although, first I need to dig it out of the garage loft and dust it down. It hasnt been out for a few years since I gave up road riding in favour of MTB's

Exactly my thoughts - although I also love the more garish Colnago (and others) paint jobs of the late 80s and onwards.

i am partial to pinarellos... i love it. i would lose the control tech stem and bontrager seatpost.. both have no businness w/ this frame. tires are great.

Ooh. He's got a point about that stem and post. Don't worry about the gears, just go slow......more people can see it then!

Nice one,

I have a red one, with all the parts original from the day i bought it.
Not sure when i bought it though.

not liking the gears? get rid of the ultegra (yuck) uglynness and make it a fixed gear!!!!!
ugly duck becomes the beautifull swann.
you won't have time for your other bikes.
