Bloody Ringle colours!

Ringle rear 8 speed hub arrived today.

Completely different blue to my front Ringle hub.

Typical.

Anyone want to buy a Ringle rear 8 speed hub (practically new)?

Nah the rear hub is a blue. I need a turqoise...

Yeah its defos blue. A lot darker than my turquoise one.

hmmm.

not noticed this until today.
started building up my project bike and it has three different ringle components.
zooka stem, wheel q/r's and bottle cage.
all three are different shades of red, ranging from pinkish to dark red.
very odd, i can only put it down to year of manufacture.

There's also the issue that if a component has seen lots of sunshine, it'll bleach the anodising - especially if there's a degree of batch variation. I had a pair of Hope Big 'Uns back in the day, and despite being new out of the box at the same time, the front one went pink within a year or so, whilst the rear kept its red colour until I sold them some time later.

thats the problem with anodizing it will fade i have two , x lite fly stems one is perfect and the other is faded exept underneath where there are cutout sections , inside are still perfect cherry red
