Red anodised c/ring bolts and crank arm bolts

crank is white industries, standard hex key bolts

failing red... gold would do. basically anything other than the silver/rust ones i have now! lol

I guess he means using alu bolts in a high stress application isn't a great idea.

That said I've used alu chainring bolts without problem. There's a guyo n ebay in the US who regularly sells old SRP stuff.
 
Sorry, yeah, that's what I was talking bout.

I've just been trying using those beautiful red SRP chain ring bolts for two months. Had to tighten them every like 30 miles. Don't know whether it was because of singlespeed use. Lost one of five and overwinded (Can you say that?) two others and finally dediced to go back to using ordinary steel bolts.

Anyways - I would neva-eva use aluminium crank bolts! not even after mounting the cranks with steel bolts...
