I (stupidly) bought a pair of tatty Deore shifters on evilbay without realising they were 9 speed. Upon investigation, these are totally incompatible with my 7 speed setup. I could go Gripshift, as I think I have a couple knocking about, but really wanted trigger shifters on the new bike.
Budget is basically zero, as always... ;-)
Obviously the deore front shifter will work ok, so only really need the rear, but a matched pair would look nicer.
