If you put it up for rBoTM you'll need these tweaks to satisfy the pedants (like me):

1. Tip the 'bars up slightly.
2. Match the saddle colour to the 'bar tape.
3. Or change the 'bar tape to black or white with matching saddle.
4. Put some pedals on with white toe straps.

But seriously it is a cracking bike - well done.

Rolls or Turbo? Tough choice.

Just look for the nomination thread in the Retro Road section at the start of each month. Entries usually close mid month.
 
yup, bars rotated at stem, a notch or two, and stem down in the head tube half an inch, seat nose up a degree or two, white benotto bar tape, black rolls saddle and put some veloflex pave tyres on or change the rims for tubulars eg mavic GP4 with some nice giro continental or vittoria rallye gum sidewall tubular tyres!

oh and please please PLEASE can we get some close up shots too?! as many as you can upload!!

I have N.O.S Mavic OR10 gold Tubular rims on Royce hubs with Clement Futur tyres Extremely light
I have thought of the Regal Girardi Saddle which i have fitted to the Rourke.
Or i do have a nice black grained Rolls!!
Don't really want to spend at the moment (her indoors :twisted: :twisted: )

GP4, GL330 or SSC are the only way to go!!

the blue part of the decal has probably been worn away by the previous owners heel.

Yes, the blue colour on the rh chainstay has worn away
Shame really,but hey that doesn,t bother me much
I could always get it re-finished
