Thanks to all that voted for the Kona :D well done to the Ibis :) a lovely bike indeed. Surprised Suburbies VC didn't garner more votes though, my winner!

I missed the vote deadline so didn't get a chance to cast my vote (been away) :( . Could have tied with the "pre '98" Ibis! Any chance to add it on? Pretty please?

The Ibis is a fantastic bike but lovely though it is, being a pre '98 surely shouldn't be here? Even with nice modern gear on it. After all, as most people say, "the frame's the thing." Showing a pre '98 in a post '98 competition surely isn't quite right?

:?

yeah we need to crackdown!

Not till after next BoTM. I'm entering my 86 Bottecchia 989. It has 105 levers on it (as much as I love Campy SR, I like to stop) so it's got "modern" parts, and I ride it up the path to the waterfall by my place once in a while, so it's a mountain bike in spirit...................

It doesn't matter what the category is. I'll figure out some kind of spin that will justify me entering a 1986 Italian road bike.
