Saw this advertised and wondered if it was worth a punt?

Only details I have are:

Alloy Stamped with LARM & NV in a star

Marzocchi shock - possibly 1994-6 by the XT mech attached but it does have a disc mount?

Any thoughts?

Verlicchi mass produced frame for lots of different companies : Iron horse , muddy fox , lapierre etc...

good DH bike in its time . a few wrold cup champions to it s name .

£100 max depending on state of rear shock .

Early DBR full sus I think, identical to the Iron Horse design.
Should be ok with a spruse up. Check the shock condition though.
I think the DBR's, in their day and fully built up, went for IRO £2k.

Didn't the DBR have a bent seat-tube with the shock going underneath it? At least, the 1992/1993 did... This would be more like an IronHorse or maybe Rudy Project (they looked identical).

Too bad about the disc-tabs, though... doesn't make it quite that retro to me. The only "retro with discs" is a Mountain Cycles San Andreas IMHO  But a nice frame nonetheless ;-)

With my Verlicchi I were a proud BOTM winner about a year ago

I find it a recommendable bike. Check shock (though I do not think it has a bad reputation) and of course near the welds - it is old alu

On the Disc mounts: A year ago I encountered a Sintesi with Formulas for sale, so not the 1st time I see it. Makes likely it is a later Verlicchi frame. I think 1996 was the last year they were produced.

Hi Elev12k,

Your bike looks fantastic! :D

Is the HT 1in or 1 1/8in?

Also any idea as to travel - although thats not too important! :D :D

Thanks :) ... many more pics here

On earlier one it was 1-1/4, but on the above one it likely it is 1-1/8

Travel is 9cm for the later yrs and I believe a few cm less for earlies

If I recall correctly MadCowKev has one he doesn't do much with at the moment

I know someone in Holland who is selling one

worth a punt

Void commented that disc tabs made it not Retro-however in 1991 Fisher built the RS-1 with a Hope disc in the rear, and if that isn't old enough to be Retro, than what is?
