How to package tyres for posting?

tedc, is your cat also your parcel opening secretary?

Note quite, but all new packages have to be checked out - didn't see him sneak round the back of me, I snipped the critical piece of tape - "spriong" - and then the cat disappears round the back of he sofa. :D

I have't sent any as mine are worn out when I have finished with them,
but I just tried folding one like you fold/coil bandsaw blades. It works
and would make a nice compact thing to package.
I will try and describe how you do it if you want, I need a blade in my
hands as I do it without thinking about it.
If I let go[remove my boot] it will uncoil and there is no sign of any damage.
