What? Sorry? We're on? Oh, hang on a mo (wipes nose)

Aha! Here it is, bought a a car boot on Sunday, finished off today with some bar repositioning, new tape and a comfy saddle.

SPDs will replace the LOOK pedals.

Miche hubs on Vuelta rims, Vittoria Roma 22 tyres

Campagnolo Avanti/ Mirage/ Veloce mix with Mirage 8spd ergopower

Not light, not heavy, big looking frame though. I squeeze onto it at a stretch with my short arms/ long legs.

Rides like an aluminium frame should, stiff, compliant under power and happy to lug 14 stone around the countryside.

nice looking bike, still can't believe your constant luck at finding gems like this for little or no money. I only see tat at my local recycling centre or car boots :(

He's right. It's a nice looking bike and you're a jammy wotsit for keep turning these up :D

a quick 20 miles out and about with some on route adjustments and its a fine piece of cycling equipment. Not outstanding, just a good steady ride.

The 'Tricky Dicky' car boot find is really quite tidy.

FWIW thought RV was more of an injector than snorter.

Only thing for sale at my local carboot is stolen goods and dodgy dvds. Lovely bike to boot.
