Another zaskar build. 91 ? Stripped but not dead

Took the zaskar out for it's first decent run tonight. 9.5 miles. 99% off road.

I've not got the forks I want for it yet so it was the solid trials forks I used. Ouch  Made for a very unforgiving setup. Nice and direct but very nervous on the descents, especially with the porcs at 45psi.

Sorry about the crappy phone photo.

Still waiting on forks, headset, gear hanger and decals for the zaskar but I can't help but grab it every time I'm heading out.
None of my other bikes have hit the the dirt in my whole week off

I think I like the stiffness and the head down arse up attitude of the zaskar which is something that's missing from the rest of my other bikes.

Wee photo of the gang :)

Thanks chaps. It is looking good.

Rob,
That leaves you needing a cable guide. Have you seen my for sale post ?
Quite expensive for a cable guide but it comes with free stuff

I did see that frame but the paint is too poor really, which is a shame.
I've got a wanted ad out for the cable guide.

Another update.

I'm only waiting for a gear hanger and decals now.

I got the new forks for the zaskar (Thanks Charlieboy :) ) so with the extra 20mm in the forks it allows me to lose the riser bars and odd stem.

It now has Titec bars and stem with Onza bar ends.

Braw

I am using the same brake as you (the one I added to your frame). Just thought I'd let you know they polish up VERY NICELY and I also de-anodised the green adjusters back to silver easily with some oven cleaner and synthetic wire wool. Got some different pads as you did that match my frame colour and it looks 100% better.
Rob.
