A combination of working Saturday and Whinlatter Sunday have ruled me out, looks like its worth the effort though especially with good weather forecast.

i got back from mallam the last time in 50mins
hey up , has anybody ever rode the cheshire ring ? can it be done in a day ?
i have been interested in this 99 ish mile loop for a while now but recently a colleague at work has shown interest too ,so its looking like we will be riding it very soon, possibly the 2nd bank holiday coming up
p.s on retro's too

Reckon I'd be up for a go at it over two days, really not sure about one :? although it'd be a very cool thing to do setting off at sunrise on midsummer's day

didn't want to put you off pete think its actually 97 miles our plan is to camp but just gathering info at the mo,,,does the bridgewater cut pass your'e window mate?
next time we are out pete you will have to try my brooks b17 its done well over 1000 miles now ,its an actual ar*e hammock

I think it must pass within a few hundred yards at least - definitely a breakfast/dinner/tea stop if not an overnighter. Doesn't look like we're in the right place to make it the overnight stop though...

Hello my NW chums! Pete and me had a spin just over the boarder the other week and we both thought it'd be retro friendly. We thought it might be a good idea to ride this route mid week so those that work weekends could attend. If there's no interest in that I'm happy to organise a weekend ride on this route later in the year. Be a good 'un for a cross section meet.

The 47 mile loop - Mary Townley Loop / Pennine Bridleway take about 7.5 hours for fit MTBers I'm told. I'm fancying a go at it shortly!
