Changed the stem to an 80mm jobbie but fell it could still go another 10mm shorter, and making do with the Risse Genisis rear shock (which rides really nicely, very supple) till a new Yasusu unit arrives.

Certainly not a lightweight but good fun to ride. Very steady when giving it some beans downhill and can't wait to get it out on the Spanish trails where I think it will be right at home .

Thanks for looking.
Alex.

Well I've got to say, even changing from the short travel MC Aftershock to the Risse was night and day and improved the ride noticably... Should be even better with a tunable modern rear shock.

yes very nice
i was gong to ask what the hole is for
reflector

most likely a headtube badge hole?

oh and you mounted your headset the wrong way round!

think the hole is for attaching a steering stop for triple clamps.

surely that would be a sizely stop??? wouldnt they be on the sides instead?
