Nice  , i remember one of the guys in the Glasgow MTB club had one, would have been around 92 (i had an Offroad 852), had tons of purple on it too but rigid forks from what i can remember.

Can you remember anything else about it? groupset or any of the add on bits-barends seatpost etc .Might even be the same one :?

Remember ?, jeez it was 19 freakin years ago man, i can hardly remember last week

Would'nt know what groupset was on it (only seen the bike once or maybe twice), the guy worked in a bike shop so was posibly a mixture of stuff, had a purple stem (thinking about it that may have been an Answer A-tac), hubs (definetely Ringle), did'nt have bar ends, dont think it had a purple seatpost.

Could be the same bike, (was stickered Rudy Project) guy was about my height so would have rode a 17" frame.

I got it off the owners nephew,he said the fellow was a dedicated roadie, the bike was just to train offroad.Sound familiar?
Not many about thats for sure. But i dont think its down to breakages as mine looked like it was ridden hard, and certainly seems robust enough for todays standards
Maybe after its finished ill sell the parts and use the funds for to modernise it

Only joking ;) Looks way too good even in its current state.

see, all that heartache back in April and you've got yourself a nice little Italian stunner!
Thanks :D
Perfect 17" frame for my 6'3" body
I'm anxious for my amberwalls to arrive so i can see the overall, and i suppose a pair of XT pedals would give me a complete m730 groupset, but the cost of XT pedals these days is one component i cant really justify fitting.

Now all i have to do is take some good pics and await the right botm to show it off in.Mind you, these days the competition is seriously stiff
I had a mate visit [rides a decathalon  we tell them but they dont listen] He thought i was pretty amazing but was totally blown away that all i would want for it if sold was 300 quid,he reckoned 5-600

I nearly fitted Hopes 1st gen hydro's to it last night, but i came to my senses

Finished pic
Nothing else needing done its ready to go. :D
