The polishing/Anodizing thread

nope.

I left the cranks outside to the elements for the last week, one untreated and one covered in clear car wax.

Zero tarnishing to either crank

And so today's first attempt is a RitcheyLogic Canti.

Started life with a very tired black finish (on the right of the pic) and 20 mins of hard graft has produced another licely polished finished.

Not sure if I can get the replacement decals, but tbh I'm not all that fussed...

haha, Stefan's secret is now out...

I live in a dark, cold and wet room, down in the earth, with a lot of machines arround me, have a lot of time to bulid bikeparts, when they are broken. When the night come I go outside with my dog

Greetings Stefan

Fantastic results from that kit Stefan! I hesitate to call it DIY-it looks very professional to me.

I make the red one new ....

you see any difference? The cook letters are not decals :D I make them with an aireraser.

Stefan

you see everything goes, it's always a way.

do you use a stencil for the 'cook bros' lettering then?

Please tell me that lathe is in the bedroom..

Hi Stefan,

What do you use as a mask and what is the abrasive medium. Great results you get.
