How is it ok? The rule is that the bike must be complete. I had a look at the last few years and the rule was complied with. The rule is easy to comply with and, on its face, it doesn't permit discretion.
Personally, I feel that if the objection is only been raised a day from the end, after near enough a week of voting, it's a little late in the day to be raising it - after all, it hasn't stopped people voting for it up to now.

I agree, the lack of pedals now shouldn't be an issue, daft raising it now, I chose between StarTrek's Fat, Tam's Clunker and Bushpig's Cunni' - I went for the Cunningham simply because I liked it the most, pedals didn't come into it either way.

edit ... and yes I did look at the vote before hand, almost always do, didn't influence me either, it's not like it is an election to put someone into power, it is meant to be fun.

not at all, I have met a host of very intelligent Americans, what you meant to say was "some" Americans are so dumb.

With respect, you seem to struggle with the written language, both in word choice and reading comprehension. I meant what I wrote, but it was meant sarcastically. It was a follow up to your charming suggestion that I am a "fanny" and then the erudite follow-ups that suggested that since I was, presumably, an American, I would think that meant "bottom" since that is what it is know as "over there." In fact, I know exactly what you meant. Puerile and not at all unexpected.
