Following discussion at the Wobble yesterday and seeing Corduroyboy's lovely frame in 'For Sale' today (is that serendipity?) I really owe it to myself to look for a steel Stumpjumper in 21".

To add a bit of context, I had a Stumpjumper that a mate bought for me to ride the first Polaris ("we're in the Polaris" "but I don't have a bike" "yes you do big man, pick it up tomorrow" - sadly I had to pay him back). i sold it, as you foolishly do, but bought it back and it rode up the Karakorum Highway in 1998. I then had to abandon it minus a few parts in Pakistan following September 11. Getting one back would be great, nice frames but with a particular resonance for me.

I'd prefer fully rigid from 1991 to 1994 if possible but will be interested in what's out there in general including S Works! If anyone can help that would be much appreciated.

Ok, narrowed my old one down to '91 but as no leads so far I think restricting my serach won't help.

Surprised not to have had any responses - apparently they were as common as Konas.......

Well I do have two Yo's so another Fat would be greedy!

Surely there must be a Stumpjumper in someone's shed, unloved and in need of a good home?

Scant, give us a warning before you post up any of yer bike " niche porn. "

Anyone know how to clean an LCD screen?
