typical chain reaction packaging

there is a thread for this on off topic

i was just gonna say that.

technically it is more environmentaly friendly as the cardboard is much easier to recycle, as apposed to jiffy bags which are plastic lined.

at the end of the day postage is free, so i don't really see the issue lol.

What else was in the box though!? On that invoice there is 2 items not just the 1 headset spacer!

nope just the headset spacer..

as for the other poster, it's not about the free postage, just about the waste.. the cardboard has to be recycled and made which requires energy that will be no doubt produced by mineral based energy sources, the bigger box will have to be delivered in a petrol or diesel fueled van that could of fitted more in if it did not have a cavernous sized empty box taking up room so the smaller the packaging the better..
