I've had a nice shiny 9 speed cassette for ages. And one day I'm going to break my obsession with 7 speed cassettes and use it. But I think I'll gently try 8 speed first.

went for the even cheaper shimano one from merlin for £12 and shamefaced to admit that I did not even look at weight
This looked good, was going to go for it for the weenie build but just used an old chain in the end up.

People call me a Retrogrouch who lives in the past but I had my first 9 speed cassette as part of a full 27 speed drivetrain over 10 years ago plus hydraulic discs and full suspension. Gaz 9 speeds old hat, why not leap to 10 speed
