I think we get a win , it is very difficult because the quality of the bikes presented is extreme. Some of these are works of art wheels

I'll make my mind up around midnight on the 31st

Don't forget, that's midnight (midnite?) GMT

That is almost correct, however as per rule 16

16. All polls end at 23:59.59 UK time (GMT or BST) on the last day of the month.

We here in the UK go to British Summer Time on 27th March. As such the poll will end on 23:59.59 BST, i.e. one hour ahead of GMT. Please bare this in mind when placing a last minute vote.

A couple of the Cannondales were after manufacturing went to the far east
I don't believe that's the case. Cannondale production was USA based until at least the mid noughties - perhaps later.

and the Kona is an Eastern made Canadian brand...
The Hot was welded in the USA.

Jim is correct, all entries are valid afaik. If someone has a genuine concern please try to supply solid facts rather than vague conjecture.

The rhygin rules, shame you didn't enter it.

As for Kona. Well, I'm not a fanboy but the teesdale welded Hot (assuming it is TET welded, think they all were?) is surely a worthy entry.

Anyhow some early front runners already. Could this be the month for the Pig's 'ham?

Yet again it is great to see well used bikes in BOTM, loving the fact a mud covered bike has been entered.

However for me it has to be a bike I drooled over years ago, the one that stopped me in my tracks when I first saw one, the Slingshot.

By '97 I think they were being made at Altitude Cycles in Chico, CA.

Another tough month. I love yeti-man's scratched-to-shit Cannondale, but the cranks are a deal-breaker for me. Startrek's Fat needs pedals. The Ibis is the one I'd most like to own (if it were an inch or two bigger). The Cunningham is the one I feel ought to win, but tam_shadow's lovely Schwinn gets my vote. Some things just can't be reasoned.

How can I be the only person that likes the Klein Pinnacle???

I love the shape of the frame and the restrained (by Klein standards) paintjob.

Using my time honoured BOTM method of 'which one would I get on first if they were all lent against a wall for me to try out', I've narrowed it down to Bushpigs Cunningham and Tam_shadows Schwinn.
The engineer in me is crying inside at the welding on the Cunningham, but it just looks so much fun to ride!
The Schwinn looks to have the same grin factor too.
Its a tough one :?

Very nice selection this month but the vote made difficult for me because no single bike stands head and shoulders above the others.

Both the Yo's are ace but not the colour I'd go for.
Both the Ritchey's catch the eye but just miss out.
Wadsy's DB looks very classy.
Clockworkgazz's Salsa came very close but I don't dig SS.
Can't bring myself to vote for anything with white rubber so that rules a few more out.

In the end I went for mfh126's Yeti. Not a massive fan of the brand but this one ticks all the retro build box's for me. Superb build.

+1. To misquote the bard , ' Out, damn garage queen! '.

More to the point, it was the only bike that made me think of Dr Seuss's 'Oh the Places We'll Go!' - which for any number of reasons says America to me...

Possibly not the best criteria for judging BoTM, but hey ho, it's my vote!
