Some things take priority, even over bikes. Iam sure there'll be other rides coming up in this area from Paul.

I can't make it as I'll be down in London getting bashed by the rozzers on the huge TU march. :(
Quality, what are you protesting about? The rising price of oranges?

Cheeky    Being a Union Rep I feel duty bound to attend.

Do we have a final roll call?

I am trying to somplete the RTS in time to give it shake down

wheels are built and some of the cables are in place, a late night visit to Merlin tonight will secure a PC870 chain, as they are on offer ;)

Might be there yet; depends upon whether the bike's finished. Sitting on the garage floor in bits at the moment.

Could be a late night tonight so that I can give it a quick blat down the trans pennine to work tomorrow

I'll be there leave pass is now approved.

PC870 chains are they 8 speed Martin?

PC870's work fine on 7 and 8 speed Mark.

Really looking forward to this ride. The weather is looking good and the trails should be bone dry.

Fingers crossed.
