Tricky one; Oscar Egg Super Champion, model SC2 lugs I believe used alot in early fifties, the russ forks confirm the dating ( 1950 - 51 at a guess ), but the make - Grubb, Viking, Bates ??? All worth a trawl thru the tinternet. Will revisit when I get more time. Terry

One of the few areas allowing the builder some freedom is the seat cluster. A close view might reveal something. Also the way the tubes are finished inside the bottom bracket. It looks to be a small production hand built, very well brazed. The cable guide on the bottom bracket could be later. Pump pegs on the down tube on a hand built also indicate early 50's.
Did the builder drill a hole from the seat cluster to the top tube, some just used a chisel, some didn't drill gas holes, or drilled in the seat stays inside the brake bridge.
Also location sometimes helps.
Agree it looks 1950/1 ish.

First of all i would like to thank Old Tel and Keith Glos for there Posts
Much appreciated.Hopefuly more to follow
It's been confirmed by a local friend, whom has vast experience and knowledge of the marque.
Viking Severn Valley, but cannot decide on the year
Probably 1954-55????
I'm happy with that, now i can decide on the finis and build.finding out what sort of colour scheme they used
Also hopefuly i can find an original Viking Headbadge
I have a collection of 50s components, Cyclo Benelux/GB Hidiminium Brakes,Bayliss Wiley BB, etc
