Does anyone know if these exist? Basically I'm trying to find a 7 speed cassette with a 10 tooth 7th gear to match to a 38T single speed crank to keep a near 1:4 ratio for crusiing
The only one I know of is the Shimano Capreo cassette, which has smaller cogs (higher ratios) for small-wheeled folding bikes.
It's 9-speed.
Some of the smaller cogs can be removed.
But I think they use a special hub and cassette removal tool.
So I doubt you could swap the smaller cogs onto a "normal" hub.
Just had a read throught that site, its a shame it needs the special free hub as you stay Stick Legs, I wonder if the free hub bit can be transferred to a standard hub..
Moulton used to make small cogs sets for their bikes, but again I think you need a special driver. Or you need to get one of these-an srp 10 tooth lockring cog:
