Its too cold in the garage

I do the wheels indoor too , but for the rest it is the shed i am afraid .
with 2 young children it is safer outside .

If its warm and sunny, then its in the back yard.
If its anything else, then its in the kitchen.
Either way its itunes on the laptop ;)

But have manged to spray some stuff up black to rejeuvenate some old bits. Plasticoat black spray is excellent at doing scuffed up black seatpins and also Suntour thumbie mounts. And the odd waterbottle bolt.

Another tip for you

Greasy oily mucky parts need cleaning ie Mechs, chains, etc. Wait till wifey goes out then whack them in the dishwasher i guarantee you'll be impressed. used to do this all the time with my car bits

Housey

Always in the house with a few kool toons on the stereo, unless it's Sunny, then the front yard. Just put a Newspaper down(No wife to report to these days) and waggle those allen keys!!

Jez, I cleaned up a utterly filthy Tioga Psycho II with Vanish oxy action powder. I scoop in a sink of the hottest water my tap would produce and stuck the shelf from the oven on it to keep it under  .

1/2 an hour later and was amazed to see that the tyre was almost new looking (though it has bleached off the Tioga logo) but the oven shelf was all sparkly too!

Result! :D
