hi ya ratbane,

what model are the v brakes and tell me what them dual control things are like, I have used the old fashioned STI things, how do these compare, and why do they look so funky?

oh condition of vs and sti things

Had a really weird experience seeing one just like this (sporting some lovely red bombers) outside Iceland in Peckham  . Looked fab!

Free 'shock and awe' bump  !

Hi,

I'll check the exact serial no. on the Vs this weekend.

The dual controls are excellent. They were intended as race levers, and are thus very light compared to stis/levers. The shifting is done via the lever, as per road levers.

Both the vs and dcs are excellent condition.

Vs would come with either ceramic or normal genuine XTR pads.

Cheers

Rob

I've only ever seen one other in the flesh, that being a mates 20", which he still has.

They didn't sell well in 98/99, as everyone was fooled ( :? ) into buying aluminium frames at the time.
