Wow...thanks mate, wasn't expecting an official comment from Pace....i'm impressed

Sounds like one for the back burner, got a couple of major projects on the go right now but I can have a casual look around for a nice shiny black Cattlehead in the meantime....
They're 1 1/8" on RC200 aren't they????

IIRC the RC200 was 1" for the F1 and F2 frames (square seat tube).

F3 & F4 I am unsure but I have a F5 brochure here which gives the head tube size as 1 1/8"

F6 is definately 1 1/8" as that is what I have.

F7 & F8 are 1 1/8".

Steerers are Â£25 from Pace with a new Race collar.

Definately ain't got a square seat tube though (it's been in storage a while...think I built it in '95.... :roll: :roll: )

The frame number goives you the F number.

Mine: F6 18 022 18" F6, number 22.

f3 and f4 were both one inchers.

f3 had round seat tube but square clamp still. f4 was first to have fully circular seat clamp.

Not all frames had f numbers - just to make the identification issue more fun...!

When you find your frame, if it's green I want it off you...!!
