Green anodising - the results

Ok here goes: All stuff will be stripped to silver ready for treatment: Just need a price really - and a rock solid disposition. :D :D

Cranks (toplines)
Grafton xtr m900 shifter clamps
Grafton canti brakes front and rear
techlite brake levers
Several chainrings (2 of middleburn)
Crank bolts (all alloy)
Bunch of water bottle bolts.
Ringle holey Qr seat binder bolt
Ringle holey wheel skewers

Im off to get some caustic tonight....

Righty mate, I'll speak to my man as to the ease of doing orange. I know green is the biggest nightmare.

Get back to you asap, but hold off the caustic until I give you the word :shock:


Anyone else want orange?
 
just a few points to make

if the chainrings an outer then you will need to remove the pin which stops chain slipping inbetween crank arm & chainring, due to over shift - as the charge will go straight to the pin causing a nasty melted area!

Skewers etc have to be totally dismantled to only include one metal - hope this makes sense.

Cool, with the green (and the orange too) if we can get as much dipped in one go as possible it will bring the cost down (which I don't see as being expensive)
