On this sellers other items is also a GT national team road bike.

In his feedback was also a 2010 GT Pulse track bike - don't see many of those either!!!

That's not a Superbike-1. The Superbike-1 didn't have a top tube and was ruled illegal by UCI so they switched to this design. Same guy that recently sold an LTS Tandem also. I traded a couple emails with the seller and he either lived or lives in Colorado Springs and got many of his bikes from the Olympic Training Center there. They had the tandem there for team members to ride and they of coarse have a velodrome there hence the track bikes he's selling off.

I thought Superbike 2 was the one without toptube... that was made for olympic games in Atlanta -96.

There was a superbikes before that with toptube, aluminium and made by Tiemeyer.
