here's my trusty Saracen Tufftrax from '06 (as far as i know)
i bought it as a new bare frame and it has been built in various disguises over the last few years

here it is in its latest incarnation
the single speed rigid

Exotic Rigid Carbon Fibre forks
Element DS3 wheelset
Raceface Prodigy Chainset, 32t, with Middleburn Ti Self-extracting bolts
14t rear sprocket with gusset double six adapter and On-One Doofer
bontrager select seatpost, stem and bars
yeti lock on grips
selle italia XO saddle
Bontrager LT3 tyres
outland flat pedals
Hope Mono M4 rear 180mm
Hope Mono Mini front 180mm
Hope Skewers,Seatclamp and headset

ideally i will be fitting a more single speed specific chainset, or at least get some narrower chain ring bolts

in the past it has been:
RST Mozo Pro forks, v brakes XT
Rigid Exotic Carbon forks, XT Hope Discs

i'll add more photos when i can retrieve them from my old PC

the seatclamp is a Hope
the crank bolts are Titanium Middleburn Self extracting bolts that have been serving me for 14 years
and the bar plugs (and valve caps) are from ONE23 (lbs might do them, distributed by MooreLarge&co)

p.s. Thanks :)
theres a few nice features on this frame, the box section tapered wishbone being one of them, also the square to round/oval tubing, it's a lovely ride

I like it, like the wishbone. I think 06 was around the start of the "recovery" of saracen.

If you ever find a 06 or 07 saracen can you let me know!

i now have the 16t sprocket i wanted
hopefully tomorow night i'll be fitting it on and trying it out
change of size is to try and eliminate a half-link

ok, i now have the On-One Doofer and the 16t sprocket...
upon removing my 18t i realised it was already a 16t
i needed a 14t... rejoice! i already had one (anybody need a couple of 16t sprockets? lol)

anyway, all fitted now

with the 14t i managed to avoid needing a half link
it is rideable without the chain tensioner as there is only a tiny amount of slack but i feel happier knowing it is there

heres a few update piccies
i have used nylon p clips with stainless torx headed bolts to guide the rear hose, the frame had M4 bosses already in it for these

I do like this.

Out of interest where do you get these from:

nylon p clips with stainless torx headed bolts to guide the rear hose

As I need some for my saracen zen (06/07) and cant find any? my lbs has run out!
