If it's any help (and if I remember correctly), the Technics SL-P111 was the budget CD player to beat back in 1987/1988...

Thats an amazing memory. my late 80's / early 90's would appear to be slightly later than I was actually after as its the SL-p110 that I was thinking of

LGF, I'm so glad that it's the Yamaha amps that aren't singular.

I'm sure you wouldn't want to be advertising a pair of NADs.

hi do you have any qualityish older turntables ? either looking for old n working or a project to do up ie all electrics work, but tatty plinths and lid ready to replace or chop into strange shapes
