Orange P7 - '95 Build Thread

Saddle is light and seems to be comfortable too. Its gonna be a few days until its done and complete. The stem is a 80mm and its way too short for me. Ordered a 120mm instead so in the coming weeks the 80mm will be for sale.

Jobs to do:

Gear cables
Rear brake cable
General set-up
Cateye computer
Chain to fit

Then once thats done I "might" get the seat clamp, stem shim and a few other bits annodised purple to suit to purple anno nipples

Front Der. Size

Hi, Awesome ride, how does she feel? The new XT bits do the work and suit fine? If you get my drift.

Also what is the clamp size on the seat tube and what year is the frame?

If she has original paint that is some find. Good Luck and Well done.

It feels very lively on the short ride I did, nice and light too.

The new XT is superb but not retro, I never intended to make it period correct.

Clamp is made by exotic carbon, although its actually aluminium. Its a 27.2mm to 31.8mm double clamp to hold the carbon post in place.

The frame is a 1995 and had been painted as the original nickel finish was beyond repair.

looks lovelt, but purely for aesthetic reasons i'd loose the spacers and fit a longer stem. even if its just for photo's
