Ha, my first MTB was the yellow Rockhopper, bought it from Woodrup Cycles in Leeds for £305 in 1990, I was on the dole at the time but I wanted that bike soooo bad. I loved it but I found the Exage Mountain resin levers & thumbshifters a bit of a let down, kept slipping round & scoring the bars. Me & my mate had our bikes nicked from my basement three months later, he had a yellow Tufftrax. I cried.
